ARIZONA DERBY DAMES: DOUBLE HEADER SEASON KICK OFF! Bombshells vs. Schoolyard Scrappers and Coffin Draggers vs. Brutal Beauties Saturday March 1st at Castle Sports Club Phoenix, AZ (February 12). Following a wildly successful season opener "4 bouts - 5 teams" exhibition event in January that packed the Castle Sports Club, the Arizona Derby Dames are back for the first regulation games of their third season. Arizona Derby Dames are planning an action-packed 2008 that will feature two bouts in one night throughout their season. The Dames get serious on March 1st as the bout results start to count towards team rankings for the 2008 Season with The Bombshells vs. The Schoolyard Scrappers and a rematch of the 2007 Championship game between The Coffin Draggers & The Brutal Beauties. Captain Rowdy Roulette will lead her Schoolyard Scrappers, the team that came the closest to beating the undefeated Brutal Beauties in 2007, into the new season with high hopes, as they take on The Bombshells with Bombshell 2007 Rookie Of The Year, Phenomenon, as their new captain. Don't miss the re-match of the 2007 Championship game as The Brutal Beauties defend their title against a new regime of Coffin Draggers. With the departure of the notorious 2006 and 2007 Coffin Dragger captain, Suzy Homewrecker, new captain Dolly de los Muertos and co-captain RaeJer, both devout "Prettiest Girls In The Morgue", will show what the 2008 Coffin Draggers can dish out. Don't miss our special half time cheerleading and jeerleading event featuring cheer squads from local high schools along with Arizona Derby Dames Fresh Meat (our newest skaters). To add to the festivities Arizona Derby Dames merchandise featuring logos and images of your favorite teams and skaters will be on sale and raffles will be held for derby goodie bags.
